Happy HalloWILD

Costume DIY / Steve Madden heels

Happy Halloween! This is one of my favorite holidays of the year! The girls and I got loads of animal printed fabric which I showed you earlier in Animal Instinct, and after much shredding, cutting and tying..here's the end result! Then it was just a cloud of hairspray, bronzer, and glitter to complete the look. Hope you guys like it!
Hair and makeup close up, literally took me 20 painful minutes in the shower to brush out my hair but it was all worth it for a few hours of teased glory!
The obligatory bathroom picture.
Grrr..it was a whole lot of leopard and tiger.

Oh and if you like my look, please hype it on my LOOKBOOK!!! =)

black and gold

Minkpink Vest / Vintage sequined cardigan / BB Dakota tunic / BDG pants / Steve Madden pumps

Thrifted this amazing sheer sequined cardigan at this incredible vintage shop (where I also got some vintage fur which I'll show you another time) in Miami for 20 bones, how amazing is that? I love it's lightness and obviously I love the sparkle of the sequins. This outfit kinda made me feel like a modern day gypsy! Happy Friday and Halloween weekend! Do you guys have anything exciting plans?
We're having some friends over for dinner and drinks then we're gonna get in our costumes and go out in Hollywood. Promise I'll show you the end result from Animal Instinct soon!

through the decades

I just finished reading The Paris Wife, the story of Ernest Hemingway and his first wife during their time in Paris at the very beginning of his career. This editorial is so beautiful and makes me think that's what life was like then. Sometimes I feel like I was born in the wrong era, there's nothing like the art, culture and energy of those days.

white hot after Labor Day

Willow and Clay sweater / Hudson jeans / Aldo shoes

I've never been one to follow the widely believed fashion laws, one very commonly known one being "no white after Labor Day". I actually think any shade of white is a great color for fall and winter, especially this season, it's festive and perfect for a cool crisp day. Though I should probably be forbidden to wear this color ever seeing that I only wore these pants to dinner and already came back with a collage of sauce splatters from my meal. So let this be on the record, rock your whites ladies and keep away from colored foods oh and happy hump day!
